Gary Ray Yount

Indianapolis, Indiana – Gary Ray Yount passed away on November 2, 2023. Gary was born to Orville and Barbara (Hall) Yount, on August 22, 1960, in Indianapolis. He was 63 years old.

Gary graduated from Warren Central High School and obtained his bachelor’s degree in business from Ivy Tech Community College before becoming a dedicated employee on Fisher’s Department of Public Works roadcrew.

Gary was extremely passionate about music and had been a drummer since his youth. He found nothing more relaxing than listening to his favorite music while playing along. Other than drumming, Gary’s greatest joy was his wife, Toni, who he married on April 30, 1982. They were married for nearly 42 years.

Gary is survived by his wife, Toni (Trinkle) Yount, sons Troy and Tyler Yount; and siblings Randall Yount (Rhonda) and Cindy Kingston.

Family will gather for visitation on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) from 4-7 pm. Inurnment will be on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 3pm at Washington Park East Cemetery.
