Gary Hein

63 years old,of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Gary was born inEvansville, Indiana in 1953 to his parents, Dorothy and Alfred Hein, Sr. Gary graduated from Brownsburg High School in1971 and attended Purdue University. He completed his 18 year trucking careeras a driver manager at Celadon Trucking in November of 2015. Gary was a memberof the F&AM; Masonic Lodge in Brownsburg where he held several positions andalso a member of the Cumberland United Methodist Church in Cumberland, IN. Heloved to read, to watch old movies and to spend time at home enjoying life. Hisfavorite pastime was to sit on his swing in the back yard with his dog, Sassy,and enjoy a good book.

Gary issurvived by his wife of 15 years, Ruth Anne Hein; daughter, Amy Katherine Hein;step-daughter, Jeanette Elizabeth Wheeler; two grandchildren, Airman RobertThomas Wheeler and Madison Elizabeth Haney; parents, Alfred, Sr. and DorothyHein; brother, Alfred Hein, Jr. (Dorothy); sister, Nancy (Hein) Bialis(Edward); several nephews, nieces and many other family and friends. He was precededin death by his daughter, Melissa Anne.
