Fredrick S. McCaskey

Fredrick S. McCaskey 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 24, 2022.  Fredrick was born on June 24, 1953, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Fredrick and Bessie McCaskey.  He was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School.  He retired after thirty years from Allison Transmissions.  He was in the Marine Corps Reserve and a member of the Masonic Lodge and St. Luke Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Debbie McCaskey and Robin McCaskey; stepson, Patrick Patterson; grandson, Darren Murray, Jr.; and his parents.  He is survived by his companion, Leslie McCaskey; children, Stephanie (Accie) Smith, India (Jamari) Jones and Mistee (Kenneth) Wells; sister, Teressa Eubanks; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2022, form 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Service will be Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
