Frederick Charles "Fred" Kellermeier

Frederick Charles “Fred” Kellermeier, 69, of Indianapolis, IN passed away November 16, 2021. He was born on March 10, 1952 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Ferdinand F. & Thursa Frances (Dickens) Kellermeier.
Fred worked as a Mechanic for Chevrolet for many years. Retired in 2015. He then enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, working on his cars, going to car shows, visiting family, and lunch with the boys. He was loved by so many people and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
Fred is survived by his loving children, Kelli Craig (m.Jimmy), Kerri Stanger, Michael Kellermeier (m.Grace), Amanda Johnson (m.Nate), and grandchildren, (Kelli) Jessica Couch, Hailey West, Dylan Craig, (Michael) Payton Kellermeier, Braxton Kellermeier, (Amanda) Iyanna McKinstry, Nevah Markey, Caison Kellermeier.
The family would like to invite you to celebrate the life of Fred by joining them for a gathering on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 3-8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township. His final request was to be cremated and the family is honoring his request. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN at a future date at a private ceremony. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the ALS Association; a cause very dear to Fred.
