Fred Walter Wyant

Fred Walter Wyant of Indianapolis, IN passed away January 9, 2020 at the age of 69.

Fred was born April 13, 1950 to Frank C. and Georgia (nee Castor) Wyant.  He attended Arlington High School and went on to receive his degree in Radiologic Technology from IUPUI.  He worked for Community Hospital, IU Hospital, and finally retired from Eskenazi Hospital as a CT Scan Technologist, winning many awards during his career.

Fred will be remembered by his family and many friends and colleagues for his wit and sense of humor. He loved all things Superman and had a large collection of memorabilia. He also enjoyed collecting Gnomes by Tom Clark. When he lived in Florida, he enjoyed fishing and golf.

He is survived by his brother Frank Wyant (Donna); niece Robyn Connell (Kurt); nephew Chris Wyant (Heather); great-nephews Reece Connell, Ezra Wyant and Everett Wyant; as well as many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 17 from 4 to 8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 18 at 11 AM at the funeral home.
