Frank R. Booker, 53 of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Frank was born June 30, 1971 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Richard Booker Sr. and Jessie (Warren) LeCote. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Richard Booker Jr. Surviving are his loving partner Lori Cook, sister Diane Booker, daughter Rebecca Booker (Austin Reed), granddaughter Zoey, Step Mother Mrs. Carrie Booker, and many other family members including step siblings, aunts, nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
After graduating high school Frank joined the Military, at just 17 he became a member of the United States Navy. The Military was an important part of Frank's life. The Military helped to grow, mold, and develop the man that we all know today. The Navy provided many opportunities to travel not only the United States but many different places throughout the world. As he traveled during his duty Frank made many friends and developed long last friendships, some that were viewed as more of a brotherhood than just friends.
After proudly serving more than 10 years in the Navy, Frank started a family and his lovely daughter Rebecca was born, most affectionally known as "Rebe" to many. Fatherhood was the most important role that he played during his lifetime. He took such pride in being there to raise his daughter from the most trivial small things to the most important moments. He was able to witness all her achievements and was so proud of the woman she has become.
In 2018, Frank met Lori, two people who had crossed paths before but not really knowing. The timing in 2018 must have been the right time, as they enjoyed seven wonderful years together experiencing life, through the everyday ordinary things to traveling and experiencing new and exciting adventures. Traveling together were some of the most wonderful times each of them enjoyed.
Frank's other passion was dentistry. He worked in the field starting in high school with a vocational program and worked in the profession until his death. He could spend hours perfecting just one tooth. He took pride in being able to create great smiles for all his clients.
In 2023, a dream of owning his own business came true. He opened his own dental lab Brown Bag Dental. He and Rebe worked together developing the business's name. He wanted to portray himself as an everyday man and didn't want to sound pretentious, wanting all people to feel welcomed into his business.
Frank will always be remembered for his big heartedness. He was willing to help others, always sacrificing his self in the name of family or friends. He never seemed to meet a stranger and could talk with just about anyone. He was a true gem that was loved by everyone.
A service celebrating Frank’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 7 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brownsburg Fire Territory.
