Frances Stone,
94, of Indianapolis Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016. She and her twin sister, Virginia, were born on November 14, 1921 to the late Paul and Maud (Michael) Price.
Frances grew up on the East side of Indianapolis, graduating from Arsenal Tech high school. It was at Tech that she met her husband, Robert. The two of them built a home in Indianapolis, where they raised their two sons, Phil and Chuck. In later years, they enjoyed travelling the country in their converted camper. Frances was a true artist: she made clothing for herself and her children, she enjoying painting, sketching, and making jewelry. She also loved working in her garden, planting all types of colorful flowers. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and her twin sister Virginia (Bill) Baun. She is survived by her sons, Phil (Mary Ann) Stone and Chuck (Cassie) Stone; her grandchildren, Brad, Gordon (Christina), Joe, Neal, Heather Stapleton, Heather (Jim) Chesterfield, Sarah (Justin) Taylor; and her Great-Grandchildren; Elizabeth, Caitlyn, Caleigh, Isabella, Owen, and Abra Joy.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13 from 10am – 12pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. A Celebration of Life will take place there at 12pm.
