Frances Gayle Schober of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away November 12, 2024, at 100 years of age. She was born on August 30, 1924, in Indianapolis to the late Tom and Hattie (Love) Stevenson. Frances had a variety of jobs including working with her husband at Foxworthy Ford, in the Cafeteria at Ben Davis Junior High School, she baked, decorated and sold cakes, and made clothing for Barbie dolls, as well as being a Homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, Water Aerobics, she had been a Girls Scout Leader for many years and loved spending time with her family, especially on her father’s farm and her daughter Paula’s farm. Frances for many years attended Mount Olive United Methodist Church and most recently attended Calvary Chapel on the Horizon. She is survived by her loving children, Carol A. Schober, Charles T. Schober, her 10 grandchildren, her 20 great grandchildren, and her 25 great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur P. Schober, her daughter, Paula M. Davis, her sister, and 2 brothers. Visitation will be held for Frances on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 4:00pm-7:30pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the funeral on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 10:30am at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery following the service. The family request memorial contribution be made to the American Heart Association.
