Frances Bernice (Golden) Robertson

88, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home. Frances was born in Louisville, KY on December 28, 1928 to her parents, Kinkle and Lucille (Ross) Golden.

Frances, a homemaker, attended Crispus Attucks High School. She enjoyed music, dancing, gardening and spending time with her beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kinkle and Lucille; her husband, Henry L. Robertson, Jr; and one son, Ronald Golden.

She will be lovingly missed by her children: Larry Golden (Delia), Janice Smith (George), Tabari, Steven Robertson, Yvonne Rose, Linda James (Joe), Sheila Johnson, Barbara Green and Francine White (Roderick); stepsons, Donald Colby and Craig Robertson (Coleen); sister, Mildred Cowherd; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Golden, Patricia Hardy and Delores Golden; over 40 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, beloved family members and friends.

Friends may gather with the family from 12 Noon until 1pm on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, where her Homegoing Celebration will begin at 1pm. Burial will immediately follow services in Memorial Park Cemetery.
