Forest Haley, Jr. Was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 20, 1947, to Forest and Othella Haley. He was the youngest of three siblings.
Forest's parents, brother, William Howard, Jr. Sister, Grace M. Palmer, and daughter, Lisa martin preceded, him in death.
Forest professed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of Grace Apostolic Church. He served as an active hall monitor and sang in the men's choir at grace. He also enjoyed serving the homeless with the purpose of life ministries. Forest was a praying man that loved the Lord.
Forest attended Indianapolis public schools, including Arsenal Tech High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team. Forest was a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School, and he later obtained an associate degree in criminal justice from Crown College.
Forest was employed at Chrysler corporation, General Dynamics, and he retired after 20 plus years of service from Boeing corporation as an aerospace mechanic.
Forest enjoyed all sports (knowing every player by name, especially in football and basketball) roller-skating at Schofield's, camping, skiing, driving fast cars, riding his Harley motorcycle, and eating delicious cuisine.
Forest Haley, Jr leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sandra Alvies-Haley, son; Jamaal (Ashlee)Haley, daughter; Jamila Haley-Jones, Kanika Haley, Melissia (John) Millan, Monique (Jeffrey) Crawford, grandchildren: Dorian, Austin, Brayden, Olivia, Isaac, Aislynn, Aurora, Max, Mila, Alexandra, Lauren, Vance, and Joshua. He has a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends.
