Floyd E. Schultz “Schultzie”, 95 of Zionsville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Zionsville Meadows Nursing Home.
“Schultzie” was born August 28, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He owned Schultz’s Tree Service and retired in 2002. He enjoyed flea marketing for several decades. He was a Zionsville Volunteer Fireman for 28 years. He was also a Boy Scout Leader for 20 years, earning the Wood Badge, which was the highest honor for leader training. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army from 1941-1945. Floyd and his wife, Betty, were married on August 31, 1947 in Indianapolis.
Floyd is survived by his brother, Ronald Schultz of Zionsville; son, Floyd A. Schultz of Carmel; daughter, Peggy Engle of Lebanon; four grandsons, and four great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Zionsville Fire Department.
Calling will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 2PM until 6:30PM at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine St., with the service immediately following at 6:30PM. Burial will be held at Zionsville Cemetery on Saturday, May 4th at 12:30PM.
