Flossie Storey Hughett

Flossie Storey Hughett, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on November 18, 2020. She was born June 2, 1928 in Robbins, TN to Claude Earl and Martha Florence (West) Storey.

She married Billie Joe (Bill) Hughett on November 13, 1954 in Scott County TN.  He preceded her in death on February 6, 1998.

Survivors include her two daughters: Karen Marie (David) Nickolich and Brenda Gail (Terrance) Drake; five grandchildren: Michael (Sara) Nickolich, Jennifer Nickolich (Dan) Reskevich, Elizabeth Nickolich (Joshua) Gottschalk, Erin Drake, Rachel Drake; and three great-grandchildren: Zoey Nickolich, Harper Reskevich, and Anthony Joseph Reskevich.  She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was a member of Warren Baptist Church and Sunshine Chapter 279 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; sisters, Ana Maxine Evans, Sheila (Tootsie) Bowling and Betty Pemberton; brothers, James Robert (Bob) Storey, Earl (Mack) Storey, Granville Paul Storey, Claude Storey Jr., Glenn Storey, George Storey, William (Bill) Storey and John Lee Storey.

Flossie will be forever missed by her family and loved ones.

Visitation for Flossie will be Saturday, November 28^th, 12pm-2pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Her funeral will begin at 2pm.  Burial will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
