Flossie “Flo” Annette Butler
INDIANAPOLIS- Flossie “Flo” Annette Butler, 79, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18th surrounded by her family. Born December 24, 1942, she was a lifelong Indianapolis resident. She retired young and became a homemaker to focus on raising her children. Flo enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, crafts, and shopping.
Flo was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad; son, Frank; sister, Patricia and mother Louise. Flo leaves many family members and friends behind to cherish the time they spent with her including her sisters, Fran and Waneta (Bill); her daughter, Irene (Kevin) her son, Walter (Lisa), and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially Zayn and Silas.
Flo’s family and friends will celebrate her life on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 11am to 1pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, with funeral service beginning at 1pm with interment at Washington Park East Cemetery, following the celebration service.
Flo and her family are grateful for the comfort and care she received in her final days by Franciscan Health Hospice. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Franciscan Health Foundation of Indianapolis, Hospice House in her memory.
