Florence Mabel (Linde) Dudley passed peacefully away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 in the home of her daughter Donna. “Flossie” to some, “Linde” to those who knew her when she served in the U.S. Air Force, lived a life full of twinkling laughter and frolicking adventures in the outdoors with good friends and family. Christmas was one of her favorite times of the year, full of sparkling lights and inspirational songs. Born a twin on December 27, 1933, she was preceded in death by her parents, Fred K. Linde and Marion C. (Baker) McVicar, two brothers, Donald Linde and Robert Linde, and her beloved son Jack Dudley. She is survived by two brothers, Fred (Rosemary) Linde and her twin Lawrence (Joyce) Linde, three sisters, Marjorie Banulski, Alice Mazur and Shirley Ross, two daughters, Donna Droll and Bonny (David) Copeland, two sons, Frederick (Peggy) Dudley and Lawrence Dudley, eleven darling grandchildren, ten precious great-grandchildren and dearly beloved nieces and nephews. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear.”
A Celebration of Life is planned for Spring 2020.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the care team of Transitions Hospice for their comforting care and support. Very special thanks go out to family friend Christy Sells for the many hours of much appreciated help and care.
