Fern Irene Puccinelli

(Fern) Irene Puccinelli, 75, Brownsburg, Indiana, passed on to her eternal home in heaven on July 29, 2019. The two most precious things in Irene’s life were her relationships with Jesus and her family. She was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church and served in the children’s ministry. Irene didn’t necessarily like nature to get on her (mosquitoes, dirt, webs, bugs, uninvited plants, etc.), but she loved the beauty of God’s creation, whether while working in her flower beds or camping with the family. She especially loved Brown County and spent many getaways there enjoying the hills, trees, singing birds, and shops with her husband, Gino. Irene loved sleepovers with her grandkids and the memories they made together. Her most favorite times of the year were the holidays and birthday celebrations, getting everyone under one roof and eating and laughing together. Irene had a great sense of humor and loved to pun just about anything and everything. She retired from the workforce as a home loan processor, which gave her more time with her family. Irene is survived by her husband, Gino, daughter Dawn Mulder (Terry), sons Casey (Denise) and Mario (Tracy), grandsons Brad (Jessica), Jonathon, Josh, and Michael, granddaughters Miranda, Ashlee, Gabby, and Morgan, great grandsons Gavin and Connor, and great granddaughter Karri, as well as nephews, great nephews, and great nieces. Irene was preceded in eternal rest by her mother and father, Jewell and Frieda May, her sisters, Lois Reed and Betty Clark, brother-in-law, Jerry Reed, niece, Jerri Lynn Foster, and great nephew, Scott Foster. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or the family is asking that donations be made to Riley Hospital for Children, honoring Irene’s love for all children.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 5-8PM at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N Holt Rd. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 1:30PM at the funeral home. Irene will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery.
