Evelyn R. Simmerman

84, of Danville, Indiana, passed away on May 9, 2019.  She was born on November 6, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Roland Ellis and Charlotte Baxter.  She was a retired shoe department manager for Kmart.  She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church.  She is survived by her seven children, Mike (Michelle) Sprinkle, Joyce (Ron) Daniels, Jay (Ronny) Sprinkle, Brenda (Mike) Hennigan, Vickie (Hank) Brien, Bill (Kim) Mannix and Kevin (Deb) Mannix; her four siblings, Shirley Jones, Dianna Pugh, Sharon Spears and Van Baxter; her fifteen grandchildren and her eleven great-grandchildren.  Services will be Monday, May 13, 2019 at 2 pm with visitation from noon at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Burial will follow at West Newton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
