Evelyn R. Fulkerson

Evelyn Ruth Fulkerson, 84, of New Palestine, Indiana, passed away April 21, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis on November 14, 1936 to the late Thomas Earl and Bertha Kay Whitney-Miller.

She attended Howe High School and shortly after graduation married the love of her life Tom Fulkerson. Together they raised their three children in the Indianapolis area. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, and friend. Evelyn loved flowers and spent much of her time tending to her garden. She is preceded in passing by her husband Tom; and two beloved daughters, Heidi Fulkerson -Jones and Cindy Fulkerson-Cox.

Evelyn is survived by her son Scott (Kenda) Fulkerson; grandchildren Charlie Jones, Michael Cox, Whitney (Mitchell) Hough, Hogan Fulkerson, Sailor Fulkerson. Great Grandchildren, Chloe Jones, Ian Jones, and Knox Hough.

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 8430 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Suite 800 Chicago, IL 60631.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 11am-1pm with funeral services to begin at 1 PM at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis 46229.
