Evelyn J. Coss Odom

Evelyn J. (Coss) Odom, 78 of Big Clifty, KY, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away July 13, 2017. She was born June 11, 1939 to Joseph and Lillian (Austin) Coss. Evelyn was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family. She moved to Arizona in 1977 and lived there until moving to Big Clifty, KY in 1997. She enjoyed bowling, playing video games, Yahtzee, Uno and Bingo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Odom, Sr. Surviving to cherish her memories are her children, Richard Odom, Jr, Curtis Neal Odom, Jonathan Odom, James Odom, Lisa (Jim) Lutz, Ginnie (Danny) Stinson and Tracy (Dean) Allen. She is also survived by her brothers, Randy Coss, Phil Coss and Roger Coss, 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit with her family from 4-8 pm Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd., Indianapolis. The funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday at Floral Park. Contributions may be made in Evelyn’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
