EVELYN HORLACHER MAHIN, 89, Carmel, died May 7. She taught many years at Indianapolis Public School 91, retiring in 1976.

A graduate of Indiana Central College, she was active in the school’s alumni group.

Mrs. Mahin was a Kentucky Colonel.
