Evan Craig Russo

November 3, 1984 — October 3, 2021

Noblesville, Indiana

Evan Craig Russo, 36, of Noblesville passed away October 3, 2021.  He was born on November 3, 1984, in Kokomo, the son of Craig E. Russo and Holly A. Cannon.  He married Casey L. Franklin on May 15, 2015.

Evan graduated from Indiana University in 2008, and was an avid Hoosier fan from the age of 2.  He worked in IT and accounting over the past 13 years, most recently as the controller of an e-commerce brand of clothing and a tax consultant for a local growing Indianapolis CPA firm.  Evan was a die hard Indianapolis Colts fan, who attended both Super Bowls. He was an avid  Chicago Cubs, Indiana Hoosiers, and Indiana Pacers fan. Evan got to fulfill his lifelong dream of attending the 2016 World Series.  He was truly a lover of all sports… you can “bet” on it.  Evan was a loving family man, exceptional father, and loved by all that surrounded him.  His hobbies included collecting sports cards with his uncles & dad.  He was a horrible golfer, but loved the sport.  He loved family vacations, the most important of which was catching musky at Mason Lake in Wisconsin and was an avid music fan. He especially loved Tool, the Grateful Dead, and Umphrey’s McGee.

He is survived by his loving wife, Casey L. Russo and their daughter, Kilyn C. Russo; mother, Holly A. Cannon; father, Jeffrey G. Cannon; sister, Carli D. (Eric) Gilbert; niece, Eden I. Gilbert; half sister, Anna Russo; grandparents, Diana K.Rose, George X. and Cathy J. Cannon; grandma, Penny Russo; great grandmother, Mary L. Warm; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. He was preceded in passing by his father, Craig E. Russo; brother, Layne E. Russo; and grandparents, Barry G. Martin, Daniel J. Russo, Kanda V. Russo, and Gene E. Rose.

A Celebration of Life will be from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2021, at Lucas Oil Stadium, with the memorial service beginning at 5:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Kilyn Russo for a fund established to assist with her education and medical expenses.  Online condolences may be shared by visiting flannerbuchanan.com.  Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park.
