Eulos Gene Carpenter

Eulos “Gene” Carpenter, ofIndianapolis, passed away January 5, 2017. Gene was born in Harlan, KY April 12, 1941 the son of the late Fred andCordia (Taylor) Carpenter. He was precededby his wife, Lola Mae Carpenter in 2006 and his sister Frieda Beach.

Gene is survived by hisdaughter Sherry Sprong (Bob); and sons Fred (Mariann) and Scott (Elise); andhis grandchildren, Jessica Sprong, Emily, Benjamin, Mason and Kaylee Carpenter;and his twin brother Johnny Carpenter (Lynn)

Funeral services will be held 11 :00 AM, Friday, January 13,2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St.,Indianapolis, IN 46229. Burial will follow in Washington Park EastCemetery with military rites. Visitationwill be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 at thefuneral home.
