Esther M. Mowery

Esther M. Mowery, age 87, of Indianapolis, passed away October 25, 2017. She was born on January 26, 1930 in Greensburg, Indiana as the daughter of Henry George and Minnie Pearl (Hardin) Forseth.

Esther was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Indianapolis. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, shopping and spending time with her family.

Esther is survived by her children, Steven L. (Connie) Mowery, Cynthia L. Mowery and Sam Mowery; grandchildren, Anthony (Stephanie) Mowery, Ashlee A. (Christopher) Brown, Brian L. Mowery and Tina (Ronald) Grantham; and 8 great grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ward Mowery.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 10am until 11:30am at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30am also at the funeral center. Entombment will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
