PAFFORD, Ester Viceral, 81, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on March 4, 2018, in Zionsville, IN. She was born in Batangas City, Batangas, Philippines to Manuel and Sofronia Viceral. Ester is survived by her sons, Romeo Jaranilla and Reynaldo Guadez; daughters Jeanette Willoughby, Olivia Davis, Amelia Batino, and Erlinda Miller, 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was united in marriage to Johnny Jaranilla in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1996. She then married Robert Pafford, who also preceded her in death in 2008. She enjoyed shopping, movies, fellowship and cooking Filipino dishes for friends. Ester was a private investigator and compliance officer for the US Department of Labor. She was very religious and lead a ministry that met on the 13th of every month for prayer for over 20 years. Throughout her ministry, she was often asked to travel to different abbeys and all over the country to pray over those who needed to hear the word of God and strengthen their faith in the Lord. She survived cancer for almost two years without any treatment on the strength of her own faith and the use of Frankincense essential oils for pain. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 4-8pm at Flanner & Buchanan Speedway. A funeral visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, at St. Gabriel Church in Indianapolis, IN in the narthex at 10am followed by Mass at 11am and finally a procession to her final resting place at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
