Ernestine Elaine Sholar

Reflection of Life
Ernestine Elaine Sholar was born October 20, 1965 to Gloria Jean Grant and Tolbert Lee Sholar Jr.

Ernestine was affectionately known as “Tiny” to her closest family and friends. Ernestine worked for the Indianapolis Public Schools System as a food service worker for 14 years and later she held the same position at Wayne Township Chapel Hill School for 3.5 years.

Ernestine was a member of St. Timothy Tabernacle Church of God and Christ coming up in life and later enjoyed watching Joel Olsteen from her television screen every Sunday morning.

To know Ernestine was to love Ernestine because wherever she went, she could light up the room. She was definitely the life of the party with her loud laughter and funny jokes. Ernestine was full of life; she loved to dance, share her childhood stories, and most of all she loved some good ol’ music.

Ernestine departed this life on April 3, 2022, entering eternal peace at the age of 56 years. Her Mother Gloria Grant, her Father Tolbert Sholar Jr.; her Favorite Aunt Glenda Evans; her Favorite Cousin Eric Bledsoe; and her Best Friend Tameca Morris all preceded her in death.

Ernestine leaves to cherish her memories; daughters, Monisha Sanford (Robert), Monique Eubank (Ramone), and Monia Irons; grandchildren, Rhynia Sanford, Ramone Eubank Jr., Ra’mir Sanford, Rameyl Eubank, La’Nisha Sanford, Ramya Eubank, Ramsie Eubank and Legacee Burris; brother Robert Grant; Special Cousins, Brenda Manuel (Eddie), Anthony Evans (Juanita), Jessie Evans, Melva Evans, Linda Evans, and Curtis Evans (Dana). She will also be truly missed by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
