Emory Largent Iii

Emory Largent III, 62, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He was born on June 14, 1960, in Danville, Illinois, to parents, Emory Largent Jr., and Florence Kathryn (High) Largent.

For many years, Emory worked as the Security Manager for Pinkerton and Chief of Security at Ivy Tech Community College. Emory brightened every room he walked into by cracking jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed gambling, watching sports, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Emory is survived by his children, Stacy (Ricky) Foster, Christine Largent, and Tonya (Todd) Cates; grandchildren, Madison and Ricky Foster, Nikki Baldwin, Emory Largent, Hunter and Celeste Graves, Allison, Allyssa, and Karma Dalton; great-grandchild, Jace Hildreth; loving Companion, Kristine Moore; and siblings, Debbie Marks, Shirley Gipe, and Tammy Largent.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Florence Largent; sister, Joyce; and brother, Brian Largent.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 11am-2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East– 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229, with a funeral service immediately following at 2pm.
