“The agony is great and yet I will stand it. Had I not loved so much I would not hurt so much. But goodness knows I would not want to diminish that precious love by one fraction of an ounce. I will hurt. And I will be grateful for that hurt for it bears witness to the depth of our meaning. And for that I will be eternally grateful.” – Elizabeth Kubler-Ross.
Emma May Dietz was called home by our lord in heaven for a much needed rest after the unbearable fight that she endured from the complications of Omenn Syndrome. She is survived by her Parents Eva and Brad Dietz, her brothers Alex Dietz and Sgt Kylen Richardson, grandparents Hedwig and Helmut Simon, Patricia and James Dietz, and many Aunts, Uncles, and loving cousins. For such a short life she gave an unmeasurable amount of love and she received 10 fold that amount in return. She will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Riley Children’s Foundation in Emma’s memory at www.rileykids.org/ways-to-give/donate.html.
