Elsie Mae Ross, 84, of Martinsville, IN passed away October 29, 2019.                   

Elsie was born to the late Rufus H. and Lillian T. Wallace in Indianapolis, IN on January 18, 1935.

Elsie married the love of her life, the late James R. Ross, on April 4, 1953 and together they raised four adoring children. Elsie was known to have a heart of gold. Her children remember her as a genuine, kind, and caring personality.

Elsie loved to bowl and passed that passion down to her children, so much so that her son, Mike pursued a career as a bowling mechanic.

Elsie is survived by her beloved children, Gary “Mike”, Ronald Gene, Teresa Ann, and James Mason;  8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Elsie is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 10AM-2PM with a service beginning at 2PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East Cemetery, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN.
