Eloise W. Tedrowe
95 years old, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Castleton, Indiana to the late, Omer Markel and Ruth Christian Whitesell. Eloise served her country proudly as a nurse in World War II with the United States Air Force. When the war ended she continued her nursing career in many other hospitals. She was known by many as a caregiver, a love of nature, a quilter, and an awesome cook and hostess.
Eloise is survived by her children, Rudolph Buchholz, Pamela Lewis (Rich), and James Buchholz (Joyce); 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, the late Rudolph Draper Buchholz; second husband, the late Charles S. Tedrowe; brothers, Dick, Bob, Bill, and James Whitesell.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to the National Audubon Society.
Family and Friends may gather from 10:00am-11:30am Tuesday, February 14, 2017 with Funeral Service at 11:30am in Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr. Indianapolis. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
