Elizabeth Rogers

Elizabeth Rogers, 91, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away December 24, 2016 in Richmond, Va. She was born May 8, 1925, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Raymond and Amelia (Coury) Zehenni. She married Walter P. Rogers, who preceded her in passing. Also preceding her in passing were brothers Joseph Zehenni and Elias Zehenni, and her son, Tony Rogers.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Renee (Bill) Weddle, brother Tony Zehenni (Tanya) of California and five grandchildren, Nicole, Dina, Tony, Zach, and Lizzy; and three great grandchildren, Colin, Kevin, and Brendon.

Betty, to her friends, loved to play cards and entertain to a fault. She also was very artistic and had a gift for drawing.

Services will be 10:30 am Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the chapel at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 9001 Haverstick Road. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive.
