Elizabeth R. Bortlein

Elizabeth Rosalie Bortlein of Knightstown, IN, passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born in Zionsville, IN on May 5, 1938, to parents, Claude and Mary Elizabeth (Middleton) Robey. Elizabeth was a very giving person who never knew a stranger. She enjoyed basketball and spending time with family. Elizabeth loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Elizabeth married Paul Bortlein and they spent 40 wonderful years together; he preceded her in death. She is also survived by sons, Tony (Linda) Pavey, Dave (Lisa) Pavey, Todd (Suzanne) Pavey; daughter, Cindy (Terry) Webb; sisters, Rita Robey, Bonnie Davis, Melanie Robey. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Walt Robey; and sister, Madeline Robey.
Cremation will be handled by Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
