Elizabeth “Libby” Hadley Lively, Carmel, IN, was born Jan. 31, 1931 to Verlin and Doris (Guthrie) Hadley. She graduated from Mooresville High School and attended Hanover College. She married David H. Lively on May 10, 1953. They lived in Frederick, MD and Austin, TX before settling in Indianapolis. He predeceased her in 1988.
Libby is survived by her daughters, Elaine Molin (Jeff) and Carol Wagner (Lawrence); grandsons: David Andrew Molin, James Molin, Eric Wagner, Luke Wagner and Paul Wagner; brother, James “Jim” Hadley, sister-in-law, Marty Hadley; nephew, Steve Hadley and niece, Suzanne Prilliman.
Libby had many loves: God, family, friends, nature, travel, desserts, bike riding and always reading a good book. She was a member of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church and the Ruth Circle there, Tri Kappa, Oak Park Homemakers, Carmel Women’s Club and Marians Book Group.
Friends may call from 2pm until 3pm on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), where her funeral services will immediately follow at 3pm. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church or the American Heart Association.
