Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Price Reagan, 101 of Indianapolis passed away January 23, 2021. She was born in Homer, New York to the late Arthur and Zoe Price. Betty was born 101 years ago at the end of the Spanish Flu Pandemic, which she lived through, two World Wars, the Polio Epidemic and witnessed multiple Presidents come and go. She was a graduate of Homer High School where she met her husband Harold Reagan. Betty also was a graduate of Cortland State and after completing her degree work, she and her husband moved to Syracuse, New York. The Reagan’s welcomed a daughter into their lives, Patricia and in 1951 they moved to Indianapolis, IN. Betty was a Title Insurance Officer and retired from the Pioneer Title Company. After retirement she enjoyed volunteering, doing church work, and enjoying spending time with her grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Risen Lord Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Jerry) “Pat” Slater, grandchildren, Sam (Clarissa), Joseph (Stacy), Daniel (Natalie) and great grandchildren, Andrew, Hunter, Grant (Ana), Peyton, Eyler, Hudson and Lucy. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and a brother, Frederick. Services will be private, and in lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Gleaner’s Food Bank of Indiana. Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township is honored to handle the arrangements.
