Elizabeth C. Wallin

Elizabeth C. Wallin, 89, Carmel, passed away March 30, 2017. She was born March 28, 1928, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late John and Christine (Ortmeyer) Buscher. She married Donald J. Wallin, who preceded her in passing March 6, 2001.

Elizabeth retired from Continental Insurance Company. She was a long-time member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She was an avid walker and reader, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

She is survived by six children, Kathleen (Michael) DeBellis, Donna (William) Geshwilm, Diane (Scott) Houseman, Carol (Larry) Allison, James Wallin, Suzanne (Jeffrey) Hamaker; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by a grandson, Steven Allison.

Services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2017, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2017, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
