Elizabeth “Betty” Sandhoff of Marietta, Georgia (formerly of Indianapolis) died May 5, 2019 at the age of 94.
Elizabeth was born November 6, 1924 in Athens, Alabama to the late Clyde Williams and Vera Carpenter.
She loved gardening, flowers, cooking, eating, cooking in her iron skillet with grease, walking, family Christmas gatherings at the farm, and most of all loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her generosity in always helping her family and others.
She is survived by her children Patsy Ann Brown (John Alan) and Romonda Arlene Duncan (Daryl); 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great great-grandchildren; siblings Mary Helen Whitmoyer, Clarence “Pete” Williams, and Shirley Liberty; step-daughter Pam Sandhoff-Watkins (Jim); and step-son Otto Shotz.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Madeline Carol Barmore in 1953; siblings Lucille Harvey, Cecil Williams, Tony Williams, Charles Williams, and Joseph Williams; and step-daughter Mary “Sissy” King.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 13 from 1 to 2 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM with burial following at Washington Park East Cemetery.
