Elizabeth “Betty” Louise Wagner Lumpkin

81, of Indianapolis, passed away April 16, 2020 at Southpointe Healthcare Center. She was born on January 27, 1939 in Beech Grove, Indiana as the daughter of Charles F. and Catherine E. Eck Wagner.

Betty enjoyed being involved in her parish at Good Shepherd Catholic Church and interacting with her numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Wagner; husband, Robert L Lumpkin; and son Jeff L Herman.

She is survived by brothers: Robert E Wagner, John H (Phyllis)Wagner; sisters: Rita K (Roger) Chambers, Josephine A (Greg) Taylor; 5 children: William H Herman III, Thomas C Herman, John A (Elizabeth) Herman, Gary L (Rose) Lumpkin, Brenda E (Darrell) Lechner; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will be holding private services at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
