Elizabeth "Betty" L. Brinson

Elizabeth “Betty” Brinson, 93, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on November 18, 2020. She was born on May 10, 1927, to the late William H. and Goldie O. Brinson in Indianapolis.

Betty graduated from Tech High School. She went on to work for Eli Lilly for 45 years. She was an avid and very accomplished golfer most of her life. Although being a lifelong Indianapolis resident, Betty traveled the world. She enjoyed solo trips to the UK and special trips with her family and friends across the US. She was very well traveled and loved to explore the world’s history. Betty, and her lifelong friend, Bert traveled the world together and took their Mother’s with them on many of their adventures. She and Bert worked together at Eli Lilly and resided in Speedway for the past 35 years.

Betty is survived by her beloved cousins, Cynthia F. Neal, Paula K. Grogan, Donna J. Manning, Dennis L. Blackmon, Carole Bowles, Charles Beard and her lifelong friend, Alberta Sheats.

She was loved and will be missed by so many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William H and Goldie O Brinson; brother, Billy Brinson; and her beloved dog Mattie.

Services will be held privately with interment at Washington Park East Cemetery.
