Elizabeth "Bette" L. Meyer

Elizabeth “Bette” L. Meyer, 96, of Carmel passed away on June 13, 2022. She was born on October 3, 1925 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Robert E. Belland and Marguerite (Haessly) Belland.

Bette was an avid bridge player and enjoyed the friendships of many bridge clubs, hosting many luncheons and potluck dinners. She was a very talented pianist and always enjoyed playing with everyone gathered around her piano singing along. She loved vacationing at various lakes in her home state of Minnesota where her late husband Carl loved to fish and they could spend time with their family.

Bette was preceded in passing by her beloved husband Carl J. Meyer, her son Mark C. Meyer and her sister Rosemary Dusio.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Pat Meyer; daughter-in-law, Anita Meyer; two grandsons, Jonathan Meyer and Alex (Megan) Meyer; and her brother, Robert (Ann) Belland.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel at 10:30 am Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday.  Memorial contributions may be directed to The American Cancer Society.
