Elinora Faye Madsen,

90, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 29, 2019. She was born on January 18, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the Late Arthur and Mary Teepe.

Elinora married the Late Elvin S. Madsen, and the two brought six children into the family. Elinora was a wonderful homemaker who spent her time taking care of her children and attending Villa Baptist Church. She was a member of the V.F.W. and loved dogs. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Elinora is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elvin, and her two sons: Buddy S. and Thomas A. She is survived by her children: Mary Wagner, Linda Dobbins, Carl (Robbie) Madsen, and Charles (Kim) Madsen; nineteen grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm on January 3, 2020, at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Elinora’s name to the Humane Society of Indianapolis, 7929 N.
