Elias Gabriel Cecil

February 18, 2013 — November 24, 2019

Indianapolis, Indiana

Elias Gabriel Cecil, 6, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 24, 2019. He was born February 18, 2013 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Elias was a sweet, lovable boy whom everyone instantly fell in love with. He loved swinging, going out for adventures, the beach, and superheros, especially Superman and The Black Panther. Most of all, he loved cuddling with his momma. He was a Make-A-Wish recipient and was overjoyed to go to Disney World where he loved meeting Chewbacca and The Little Mermaid. Elias and his family enjoyed taking trips, especially to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. On one particular trip, Elias was able to meet his “girlfriend” 5 year old Ansley Pendleton who lived in Mississippi. Sadly, Ansley passed shortly after their trip in August of 2019. Elias lit a light in the hearts of all of those who were lucky enough to meet him, even if it was giving them a silly side-eye!

He is survived by his parents, Christopher “Shane” and Natasha Leigh Boling; siblings, Cedricka Ellington (22), Rayva Cecil (11), CedriAunce Reedus (17), Samuel Boling (3), and Xavier (3); paternal grandparents, James Christopher and Amanda Boling, Alicia Monteleone; maternal great-grandpa, Edward Solinksi; friend, Colton Prifogle; family friends, Kacie King, Tonya Prifogle, Tori Bradley, Allison Compton, Denise Bain, Alyssa Yutzy, Sara Pendleton, Zach Zigler; his loving care team, including the dedicated nurses, teachers, and Dr. Harris of Riley Hospital for Children; as well as a host of extended family members, friends, and caregivers.

Please consider making a donation in memory of Elias Cecil’s memory to the Riley Cheer Guild, 705 Riley Hospital Drive, Rm 4510, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202 or at rileycheerguild.org/donate.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
