Edward Raymond Guernsey Sr.

Edward Raymond Guernsey, Sr., 88, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on December 27, 2022.  Ed, was born in Baldwinsville, NY on December 20, 1934 to parents, Harold Wellington and Marian Grace (Meloling) Guernsey.  He worked as a carpenter during his career.

“Grampy” as he was lovingly called by his family, is survived by his children: Edward Raymond Houde, Raymond Charles Guernsey, Phillip Lee Guernsey (Christina), Theresa Ann Owens (Larry), Kathyrn Irene Harris (Richard) and Tina Drake; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marian; son, Edward Raymond Guernsey; grandchildren: Amber Nichole Shaw and Phillip Levi Guernsey; two sisters, Vivian and Phylis and two brothers, Earl and Lyle.

Visitation will be held from 10am until 2pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, where funeral services will immediately follow, beginning at 2pm.  Burial will follow services in Washington Park East Cemetery.
