Edward Lee Lash

Edward Lee Lash 90 of Avon, IN formerly Speedway died December 05, 2016. Edward was born on June 25, 1926 in Indianapolis to Harry Edward and Ethel May (Parsons) Lash. Edward was a life time member of Fleming Garden Christian Church. Edward worked for a while for Eli Lilly and Co. before he became a route salesman for Cook Coffee Co. Edward was also a top salesman for Avon. He enjoyed getting to know people and never met a stranger. Edward married Ressie (Parrott) Lash on May 27, 1945 after meeting on the west side of Indianapolis at Bridgeport Brass and she preceded his in death on August 12, 2016. Edward is survived by his children Shelly (Claudia) Lash, Vickie (John) Gandiello and Donald (Darlene) Lash; 7 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, siblings; Thelma Payne, Gerald (Jeanie) Lash and Gloria (Roger) Farrington. Calling will be Saturday December 10, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 10 am to 11:30 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 am. Entombment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
