Edward L Kappes

Edward L Kappes III, 82, Passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 8,2020. Born in Indianapolis on April 23, 1937 to the late Edward L and Marvel A (Amos) Kappes.

He graduated from Broad Ripple High School and attended Butler University. He was a brick mason and later became a successful entrepreneur owning A Ring Brings Pizza and later owning Franklin Road Liquors both located in Lawrence before retiring in 2000.

He loved to play and watch golf. Was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers and IU basketball. He spent many years enjoying his cabin cruiser boat named Bottled Assets.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Lois, daughters Betsy, Patricia, Sheryl and Linda and step children Edward Weisenbach, David Weisenbach, Susan Cochran, and Neil Weisenbach, grand children, great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

Arrangements entrusted to Flanner-Buchanan funeral and cremation, Washington Park East Cemetery.
