Edna L. Lloyd

Edna L. Lloyd, 81, passed away on January 31, 2017 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born on June 11, 1935 in Rock Falls, Illinois to James and Ruth Reiger, who precede her in death. She worked many years doing janitorial work in the City County Building and The Scottish Rite Cathedral. She enjoyed quilting and scrapbooking, but her favorite time was spent with her family. She was a member of Mars Hill Free Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lloyd.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her companion, Garland Lockard, her daughters, Paula (Rockland) Snyder and Edna Stanger, sisters, Barbara Neville, Ruth (Fred) Horton and Mary Taylor, 6 grandchildren, Steve Manning, Stephanie Manning, Christina Hooker, Scott Manning, Jennifer Bryan and Joshua (Courtney) Stanger, 9 great-grandchildren, Jacob Hooker, Alisa Bryan, Shelby Hooker, Colin Manning, Alexis Stoddard, Jalen Bryan, Caleb Manning, Corbin Stanger and Jaxon Stanger and 2 great-great grandchildren, Tanner Hooker and Liam Hooker.

Friends may visit 4-8 PM Friday, February 3, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis 46222. A celebration of her life will be at 10 AM Saturday at Floral Park. Contributions may be made in her memory to The Diabetes Association.
