Edgar Dean Callis

Edgar D. Callis, 84, of Avon, Indiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Ed worked 38 years at Diamond Chain Company. He enjoyed archery, bowling, golf, hunting, and NASCAR. Ed was a Navy veteran.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Sharon Callis; Children, Laura Callis, Jason Callis; step-children, Debbie (Bob) Cline, Mark-deceased (Ann) Mayse, Mick (Cheryl) Mayse; sister, Connie Jo (Bob) Colson; beloved nephew, Steve Callis, and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt. Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 12 at the funeral home, with calling beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
