Ed Harrison

On February 14, 2023, Ed Harrison went on to be with our Lord Christ Jesus. He took his last breath lying in the loving arms of Jan, his wife of 55 years, on Valentine’s Day.

Ed was a long-term resident of Marion and a graduate of Marion High school. He will be remembered by those who know and love him most for how tirelessly and sacrificially he worked at Dana Corporation for 40 years to provide the best for his wife children, and grandchildren.

When Ed wasn’t working, he spent his time with his wife, family, and friends often doing things that they loved to do. He enjoyed retirement by spending time with family and friends having a happy hour on his back porch and going to Florida in the winter. His family and friends will never forget the times spent sitting, laughing, and telling stories with him over a beer or cocktail.

His legacy will continue on through his wife Jan Harrison. His Children Kimberly Carney, Michelle DeVoe, and J.D. Harrison. His sister Elaine Berg. His son-in-laws Roger Carney and Jim DeVoe. His grandchildren Kayla, Cierra, and Ally Carney and Haleigh, Lukas, Hannah, and Ellie DeVoe. Along with two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, 5 nephews, and one niece.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at 1 pm Saturday, February 18th at Cyntheanne Christian Church in Fishers, Indiana. A reception with food and drinks will begin at 2:15 pm at 9773 W. Country Road 1025 S. in Fortville, Indiana.
