Earline Lois Craddock

November 14, 1929 - January 24, 2025

Earline Craddock was an elegant and loving soul who lived a long life devoted to her family, her faith, and her friends. She passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, at the age of 95.

She was born on November 14, 1929, in Pass Christian, MS. She spent much of her young adult life growing up in New Orleans, LA with her Aunt, Uncle, and two very dear cousins that she considered her sisters. During her life she was immersed in the Creole culture of her family heritage, where she learned the essence of cooking the dishes she continued to prepare for those she loved throughout her life. Earline was a shining example of grace and kindness. Her life was a testament to her deep faith in God, which guided her every step and inspired all who knew her. She was known for her boundless love, devotion, and her ability to make friends wherever she went.

Earline is survived by her sons, Greg L. and Derryl A. Craddock; daughter-in-law, Jamie Craddock; grandchildren Taylor Craddock, and Morgan Taylor (Nick); great-grandchildren Lucas, Emmie, Lorelei, and Grayson, who will forever carry her love in their hearts. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester Craddock. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on through her family, and all whose lives she touched.

A celebration of Earline’s life and faith will be held on February 3rd beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, 6131 North Michigan Rd. Her funeral mass will begin at noon, followed by her burial at Washington Park North Cemetery and a meal at St. Monica. The family invites all who knew her to join in remembering the joy she brought to this world. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Monica Catholic Church, or St. Vincent Heart Hospital, honoring her generous and caring spirit.

“She loved with all her heart, served with all her soul, and walked faithfully with her Lord."
