Earl Wayne Smock of Indianapolis died on April 25, 2020 at the age of 66 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 26, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert Earl Smock and Carol Marie Lovelace Smock.
He retired after many years working for Dahlman Construction, Union Local 120. He loved the work that he did. He was a member of Midwest Motorcycle Club, he loved to be on his bike and had always worked on them. He even had a shop when he was younger. He had a love for Nascar, he loved to go to different places with his brother’s and his friends to watch the races. His favorite place to be was Daytona Beach Florida where he would go a few times a year. He had a huge family and just as many friends. He loved to spend time with his grandkids and his great grandkids. Earl will forever be loved by many.
He is survived by children Earl Wayne Smock Jr, Gary Lee Smock (Shamberley), and Tina Cary (John); 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings Vickie Toomey, Cindy Yocum (Dale), Bonnie Sosbe, Linda Floerke (Donnie), Randy Smock (Pam), Rick Smock (Theresa), Terrie Pettigrew (Mike), Carrie Despain (Carl), and Mary D’aiuto (Ralph); sisters-in-law Judy (David) Harbit, Redathera Anderson (Dickie), and Carol Anderson; brother-in-laws Billy (Leah) Anderson and brother-in-law Bobby (Tina) Anderson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Sue Smock, his father Robert Earl Smock, his mother Carol Marie Lovelace Smock, his father in law Archie Ray Anderson, his mother in law Effie Merlean Scott Anderson, his brother in law Larry Ned Anderson, his brother in law Roger Dale Anderson.
The family is holding private services.
