E. B. Groce

E. B. Groce, age 91 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. E. B. was born on February 28, 1931 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Emmitt Bedford Groce and Francis Roach Groce. He was a retired employee of General Motors in Indianapolis, IN and was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Cornelia Groce, and four siblings James Groce, Irene McCoy, Christine Newhouse and one infant brother.

Survivors Include:
His Wife- Joyce Groce of Burkesville, KY
One Son- Steve Groce and his wife Victoria of Camby, IN
Two Half Sisters- Judy Criswell of Indianapolis, IN and Shirley Potts of Warner Robins, Georgia
Two Grandchildren- Tamara Surface and James Groce
Six Great Grandchildren- Jake Surface, Eric Surface, Conner Surface, Caden Surface, Brooklyn Groce, and Phoenix Groce
along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service:
Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 14th from 5 P.M. till 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home

An additional visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 11 A.M. until service time at 1 P.M. at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN with entombment in the Floral Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
