Dylan Steven Nahre Horton

Dylan Steven Nahre Horton, 19 of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday July 3, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with leukemia, with his family by his side. He was born on March 16, 2002 in Indianapolis, IN to Emily Dewey and Matthew Nahre. Dylan was a 2021 graduate of New Palestine High School. He loved to bowl and play on his PS5. Dylan loved to spend time with his family, especially his younger brothers playing baseball.

Dylan is survived by his mother, Emily (JD) Dewey; father, Matthew Nahre; brothers, Jakkson, Jeremy, and Carter; step siblings, Paige, Jeff, and Nate; grandparents, John and Tammy Horton, and Angie and Daryl (Hodge) Nahre; great grandma Peggy Jones; aunts and uncles, Peyton, Jake, Tiffany, Mike, Missy, and Denise; cousin, Kelly Shalkowski; best friend, Tristin; step mother, Amanda; godfather, Jeremy Hardwick; and beloved boxer, Bella. He is preceded is passing by his great grandma and great grandpa Horton, grandpa Earl, and Grandma Toni.

Friends and family are invited to gather beginning at 10:00 am on Friday July 9, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park (9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229), where a funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
