Douglas E. Hornberger

Douglas E. Hornberger, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away January 10^th, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 5^th, 1966, to parents Paul and Pat (Showalter) Hornberger.

Doug was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 301 for 31 years.

In 1989, he married the love of his life, Jennifer. They shared 31 wonderful years together.

Doug was a fun-loving, hardworking man. He loved the outdoors, building campfires, and camping with his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Doug is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his father, Paul; his children Devin Hornberger, Leah (Jesse) Kearley, and Levi Hornberger; and siblings Diane Anderson, Donna Goebes, David Hornberger, Dean Hornberger, Debbie Carter, Dennis Hornberger, Darrin Hornberger, Denise Farrell, and Donny Hornberger.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pat, and his brother Danny Hornberger.

Doug’s visitation will be at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East on Thursday January 14^th, from 4pm-8pm. His funeral mass will be at Nativity Catholic Church on Friday January 15^th, at 11am.
